Passion Fuels Creativity
Hey, I’m Gabriel Muscat , a cinematic video editor/thumbnail designer based in Malta, working with creators and storytellers around the world.
For me creativity isn’t just a skill, it’s a gift from God. I believe the ability to create is something divine, something we’re called to use and multiply, just like the talents in Jesus’ parable. Through editing, I want to reflect that truth — that every story, every moment, and every frame has meaning when it’s crafted with purpose.
My style is cinematic, emotional, and storytelling-driven. I love shaping stories that make people feel, whether it’s a brand film, a cinematic vlog, or a YouTube video that pulls the viewer right into the moment. My goal with every project is to create videos that draw people in, that make them feel like they were there.
Ultimately, I want to inspire others to go out and create, to use the gifts God has placed in them without fear or hesitation, and to not be afraid to show their faith through their art.
My Portfolio
Dawra Durella (2025)
(Round and Round in Circles)
A cinematic, story-driven song brought to life through a dreamy visual narrative. I handled the entire creative process —from filming to final edit, crafting a music video that mirrors the emotional tone of the track.
Working closely with Hollie (the artist), we developed the mood, visual direction, and storyline together, ensuring every frame reflected the heart behind the song and delivered an immersive, emotional experience for the viewer.
Fl-Eternità (2025)
This Christian worship song was filmed live, and I handled the full post-production process. My goal was simple: keep the video honest, raw, and true to the worship moment.
I didn’t do the color on this project, but everything else in post was on my end — editing, sound syncing, pacing, and shaping the flow of the story. I focused on letting the real emotion breathe, choosing cuts that feel natural and allow viewers to experience the atmosphere rather than just watch it. The result is a worship video that feels sincere, intimate, and grounded in genuine praise.
Friefet (2024)
(‘Butterflies’ in Maltese)
I worked as the Senior Editor on a Maltese TV series called Friefet, where I successfully edited 24 out of 26 episodes.
My responsibilities included assembling scenes to create complete episodes, performing sound editing, adding music and sound design, and exporting the final episodes for delivery to the producers.
One of the biggest challenges of this project was the fast-paced schedule — each episode had to be fully edited and ready within just three days.
Il-Kliem Moħbi (2026)
(‘The Hidden Words’ in Maltese)
A Maltese TV series set to premiere in January 2026. The show falls under the drama and thriller genres, carrying the message that every character hides a secret life behind the way they present themselves.
This time, I’ve been entrusted with greater responsibilities. My tasks include syncing audio, creating rough cuts, assembling scenes into complete episodes, performing sound editing, adding music and sound design, and producing daily snippets and trailers. All this to be displayed on the biggest television platform in Malta.
Isle of Worship
I was tasked with capturing this beautiful Christian worship event. My goal was to convey as much genuine emotion as possible and craft a compelling edit that reflected the heart of the moment.
The final video showcases the pure, raw emotion that filled the event. I film and edit with intention, to capture feeling. Because emotion is what makes us human, and it’s what connects us all.
L-ikla t-tajba
(‘have a good meal’ in Maltese)
This project came up unexpectedly — I was informed just a day before the shoot. I took my camera to the restaurant and captured cinematic visuals of both the space and the food. Despite the short notice, the client was very satisfied with the final result, especially given that there was no time for preparation.
